G'Day Pedro. I am busy with work but doing ok, how about your world? I hope you and the family are well.

At the moment I'm looking forward to this Sundays ride, even though I think I will have to don the wets, the South Coast is always great to ride even in the rain.

I havn't heard from anyone else who wants to ride but I am still going.

It's ok Mal you can say hello too.

Gee what do you mean.

I think some people (members) are a little shy.

I am sure that this Sunday will not be anywhere near as cold or wet as the last time we went down that way.

Have spoken to Terry and he has a number of riders going from the South Coast.

Ride Safe.

Check the web counter on the lower right hand side.  When Jake set up  "Forums"  for me, we also put up the web counter. The starting number was gained from Ozbike web site as to number of hits on our link (6556). We are 5 days into having the web counter on and look at the number now.  NOT ALL ARE BY ME.

I am thinking of approaching selected companies for "SPONSORSHIP", by way of advertising them on our web page.

Is there any thoughts on this topic.  Let us all know by posting a reply.

I have spoken with Terry and at this stage Saturday Morning, (I am ignoring the time stamp on posts for now) We are still going for a ride on Sunday.

That it tommorrow, the day following this one, so all you busy people who are going to call Ed and let him know you are comming time is almost up.

Terry will be in contact today and if the weather report is really bad and they decide to call it off, then I will post the bad news here and on the ride info page.

But for now I am still going!

I might still go somewhere if there is somebody else who doesen't mind getting wet and loves to ride as much as I do.

Mal, Sounds like a good Idea. The idea must appeal to some busnesses in some way. We just need to find them.

Gee thanks for that Pedro, 2 weeks too late for me.  I had new rear fitted at MCW (motor cycle wharehouse) Castle Hill.  Asked about possible members deal for ERA members.  Problem is that NEW OWNERS take over in November so therefore he could not offer anythng but suggested I speak to the new owners in November, which I will do.  But good to see offers being posted in "FORUM".

This is something I will suggest to businesses when I get around to them, that they might like to post special offers straight onto the "FORUMS" for members attention.

It has come to our notice that some members of the Sydney Chapter are attempting to start another club.  Their actions have drawn unneeded attention to our chapter and club from several MC clubs.

If you want to be involved in this sort of business, LEAVE Easyriders Australia and do not imply or allow other people to think that your actions are on behalf of Easyriders Australia.

Since being elected into the position of Vice President of the Sydney Chapter, I am becoming aware of all the work being done by the senior members of ERA to make sure that our members are safe and that there is no possible conflict with any other club, but the actions of a few, be it intentional or not, are placing us into the spotlight of some MC clubs.

Some of those clubs DO NOT PLAY GAMES and I for one don't want to become involved in any sh*#.

If you want to cause trouble, LEAVE.

If you want to start another club, LEAVE

Don't involve ERA as a club or protray that ERA is supporting what you are doing.

I can not put it any clearer without naming those involved, but they have been asked to contact our Chapter President and surrender ALL ERA CLUB WEAR.

IF WE ARE NOT THE CLUB THAT YOU WANT TO BELONG TO, IT IS REALLY EASY

  -  L E A V E -.  Nobody is forcing you to stay.

ERA Sydney chapter is safe at present and we can wear our club wear, vests included.  Lets keep it that way and don't stur up trouble.

I would like to say, that I am proud to be part of Easyriders Australia SMC.

I look forward to each and every one of our rides, the mateship and comraderie.

Laughing, riding, having a chat.

Life should always be this good.

So lets get on with the fun, and in the spirit of a social club made up of people who love riding motorbikes, I am asking our members to help with our ride calender by sending some emails to the club email address on the contacts page, with ride suggestions and we can focus on what we love.

My 1st post having been badgered/cajoled etc by Mal & Ed. I support the principles of this club and love the opportunity to ride with a group of like minded people.

Hey, Ed you got a decent photo of me to use as my avatar?

Hey Mal, Ed and Crew,

Not shy mate, just not very computer literate, and very rarely get on the bloody thing outside of work. That being said, you're all doing a great job, and even though I don't use the computer much, well done. Look forward to some more grat rides next year, all the best to you all, and all other members and their families for a great Christmas and terrific 2010!!

Best wishes,

Leigh (Bald Eagle)
